Go-2 is a quintessential hot-rod of a guitar. Born from vintage luxury and given every conceivable modification and upgrade; it looks unbelievable and sounds even better both in the studio and on the stage.

The build started as a short-scale, 24-fret, set-neck Tele with the deluxe treatment of 2-tone paint, ultra-custom inlay work and pearloid binding. The customer wanted to capture the weight, sound and aesthetic of a classic 70's thinline, but was concerned about feedback issues when playing with more gain. As a solution, we decided on ultra-lightweight pine for the wood and routed an F-hole into the body, but left it solid. Instead of chambering the body, we installed a Graphtech acoustic system so it would be possible to dial in some semi-hollow tone with the magnetic pickups. Additionally, to prevent the need for a string tree and to keep the tone and tuning-stability rock-soild, we gave the traditionally straight headstock a 10 degree tiltback and upgraded the hardware with gold-plated locking tuners and a brass Hipshot hardtail bridge.

Complete with series/parallel switching for both gold-covered DiMarzio humbuckers, a midrange acoustic voicing selector and both locking and momentary killswitches; Go-2 is full-on custom class.
